Scoop into London’s new rising enigmatic band – Englomanatic Glitch

Englomanatic Glitch, the sound of the shifting delirium. An enigmatic band from London that combines huge riffs, gritty bass lines, dirty synths and psychedelic sounds that will make you feel like you’ve are dreaming, sleeping and being right awake all at the same time.

1. How did you get started in music?

We all have different beginnings in music but collectively we all met at uni in London and the band started as a final year project aimed to combine stoner rock with drum and bass but eventually it evolved into its own thing.

2. What is the inspiration behind your latest album/song?

Endless nights, intoxication, lust… the holly trinity of bad decisions.

3. Who are your musical influences?

There isn’t a specific one. To be completely honest, whatever song I’m into on the day. Whether that is Stormzy, Halsey or Obscura, I can find inspiration in almost any piece of music or something that I would like to incorporate in some way.

4. What is your favourite part of the music-making process?

The moment when you come up with an idea that makes your head nod and the following couple of days when the idea turns into a song. That has to be the best moments of music making. After that sobriety kicks in and you start over polishing the track and more often than not you lose the initial vibe. That’s why I try to finalise songs within a day or two. I don’t always succeed of course but that’s sometimes the reality.

5. Can you tell us a memorable or funny moment from your career?

Almost every time that we’ve worked on a new song and it’s either myself,  Drewzi and Mr Woody, or Emo involved we have so much fun. Someone always comes up with a cracking story or just says something out of the blue that makes us laugh our a**es off.

6. What can fans expect from your upcoming projects?

New videos that continue the world building of Englomanatic Glitch and next year… you’ll just have to wait and see.
